Description

While other mechanical-type and static-type meters are limited in low flow registration due to the technology type or through the use of an electronic low flow cutoff, the Neptune T-10 – with its nutating disc technology – can detect leaks at flow rates below 1/32* of a gallon. If water is moving, the T-10 can detect it.

*In a recent study, “Apparent Losses Caused by Water Meter Inaccuracies at Ultralow Flows”, by the American Water Works Association Research Foundation (AWWARF), the residential sizes of the nutating disc outperformed all other technology in low flow performance.

Neptune T10 ⅝″ – 2″

All T-10s are Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) or Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) capable and are easily upgradeable from direct read registers to any of Neptune’s absolute encoder registers. The T-10 family of positive displacement meters utilizes a nutating disc measuring chamber and a floating chamber design that is unaffected by meter position or in-line piping stresses.

In addition to having the nutating disc’s floating chamber design, all T-10 residential water meters meet or exceed the latest AWWA C700 Standard and are NSF/ANSI 61 Annex G and Annex F certified in all sizes from 5/8″ thru 2″. These meters also meet the upcoming changes to the Safe Drinking Water Act (NSF 372) that become effective January 4, 2014.
